Ever wondered if there could be a better way to wash your padded bras or the right way to keep them in place when you are wearing them in public. Padded bras are supportive and make blossoms or breasts look so beautiful and in shape. And to mention, how big savior our padded bras are when there are sudden nipple erections in public places, especially in winters, and how much embarrassment they save us.
Sports padded bras are helpful when you’re gyming, working out, playing a sport, or doing any activity that requires vigorous physical activities. While padded bras are our favorite bras, the only problem that we as women face is how to keep our pads in place. Well, if you have padded bras that come stitched already, nothing to worry about. But if you have a bra with removable pads, we have you covered.
Here are some tricks and tips that will help you keep the pads of your bra in place.
Stitch your bra: This is the best solution by far. All you need is a thread, a needle, and a pair of scissors. Keep your bra on a plain surface, flatten it and make sure you remove all the wrinkles from the fabric of your bra. Take your pads and keep them inside of your bra. Now, take the needle and stitch the pad to your bra from the edges. Do it from the edges because this way the pad will not fold from the edges, not even when you wash your bra. It may sound like quite a procedure but it is not. 10 minutes invested in this will save you so much time in the future. Use a protection bag: Whenever you are washing your bra use a protective bag. There is a protective bag that is used for delicates. The protective bag will add another layer to your padded bra. It will keep your bra from getting wrinkles and from folds. This way your pads will not slip out and get lost in your washing machine as well. Select gentle wash: Select the gentle wash on your washing machine when you are washing your padded bra. It is recommended that you use gentle wash for your garments anyway. The gentle wash will lower the speed of the spin or tumbler which will do lesser damage to your bra. Do not use spin dry: Do not use the spinner for drying as it does a lot of damage to the pads of the bra. The spinner in the washing machine centrifuges the water out of the water that is rotating at a very high speed. This results in wrinkles on the clothes and this can even permanently damage the pads of your bra. Wash your bra with your hands: It is best if you wash your padded bra with your hands gently. This will keep the pads in place and will not even wrinkle the pads. After washing it, leave it to dry naturally in natural sunlight without using any dryer or spinner.
Above are a few ways by which you can keep the pads in your bra at their places. Try these methods, and you will never be frustrated with adjusting the pads of your bra in the future. Wear your padded bras freely without caring about the pads slipping away or folding now. Stitching the pad with the bra is my personal favorite, this way you do not have to care about anything at all.
How many times do I need to wash my bra?
You can wash your bra after you wear them 3-4 times. It is a sufficient number of times if you do not have sweat problems. If you do have a sweat and odor problem, it is suggested that you wash your bra every day.
Do I need to wash my bra with my hands?
well, yes you do. Washing machines spin all the clothes and the water altogether which could be bad for your bras. Wash your lace, padded bras with your hands only, and do not use harsh soaps on them.
How do I know if a bra fits me well?
It is very easy to understand if your bra fits you well or not. Your bra will be comfortable for you to wear and the straps will not hurt or fall off your shoulders. The cups will fit you perfectly and you will feel confident.
