Actress Ella Balinska shares a photo of the new Charlie’s Angels cast. The movie reboot officially began production last September, and a November 2019 release date was announced the following month. Directed by Elizabeth Banks, the latest franchise film stars Balinska, Kristen Stewart, and Naomi Scott.

From 1976 to 1981, the TV series Charlie’s Angels aired on ABC. In the main roles, Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith, and Kate Jackson starred as Jill Munroe, Kelly Garrett, and Sabrina Duncan, respectively. By 2000, the film franchise commenced with Charlie’s Angels starring Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, and Lucy Liu. For the 2003 follow-up, Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle, the main cast reprised their roles. Produced for $93 million, the 2000 film made over $264 million at the box office, while the sequel earned just over $259 million, but with a higher budget at $120 million. Both films were directed by McG. For the 2019 installment, Sony Pictures enlisted a female director with Banks, who also co-wrote and co-produced the film. In addition, Banks will portray Bosley. In 2015, Banks made her feature directorial debut with Pitch Perfect 2.

On Twitter, the English actress Balinska posted a photo of the main Charlie’s Angels cast. All three women appear in black clothing and black sunglasses, with Stewart on the left, and Scott on the right. In the middle, Balinska grounds the photo with a power pose. All three women look the part, and all three have the resumes to suggest that the latest Charlie’s Angels reboot will be more than just popcorn fun. In addition, the primary cast has the international appeal to make the new franchise film a viable worldwide hit, one that could surpass the earnings of the first two films. Check out Balinska’s photo below.

With Stewart, Charlie’s Angels has a legitimate A-list actress. Not only did Stewart star in the Twilight franchise, she’s also the first American actress to win a César Award, the national film award of France. The Los Angeles native received the honor for her supporting performance in the 2015 film Clouds of Sils Maria. As for the 25-year-old Scott, she brings a loyal fanbase to Charlie’s Angels, as she starred in the 2011 Disney Channel film Lemonade Mouth, the 2017 franchise film Power Rangers, and will soon appear as Princess Jasmine in Guy Ritchie’s Aladdin. Meanwhile, Balinska’s career has steadily been on the rise, as she’s appeared in numerous feature films since 2015, and starred as Nyela Malik in the young adult series The Athena.

Based on Balinska’s photo, the Charlie’s Angels cast is ready to rock. Now, we’ll just have to wait and see what Banks brings to the table as a filmmaker.
