The government agencies warned US organizations and companies to look out for WhisperGate and HermeticWiper after they were seen being used against organizations in Ukraine in the run-up to Russia’s invasion of the country. Both CISA and the FBI reiterated that there is no specific threat against US organizations. “In the wake of continued denial of service and destructive malware attacks affecting Ukraine and other countries in the region, CISA has been working hand-in-hand with our partners to identify and rapidly share information about malware that could threaten the operations of critical infrastructure here in the US,” said CISA Director Jen Easterly....

Apple’s third supplier for the iPad 2’s touchscreen is Foxconn affiliate Chimei Innolux, reports Bloomberg. The remaining two suppliers of touchscreen modules for the iconic tablet are Wintek and TPK Holding, Apple’s long-time partners. A research study into use of social media platforms by minors found that upwards of 40% of children under 13 were using them, despite accounts supposedly being limited to teenagers and adults. The research included TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. The study also found that a full third of minors had experienced an “online sexual interaction,” which included being asked for, or receiving, nude photos … Adding to the concern, children are much more likely to simply block those sending inappropriate messages than they are to report them to a parent or caregiver....

After Spectrum TV launched just last night for Apple TV, the company has now announced a new Apple TV 4K deal for subscribers.
