Some specials venture on stereotype, but others are just unclassifiable. It might be due to strange characters, nonsensical plot, or simply because they have weird concepts and deliveries in general....

A teaser for the upcoming reboot of Child’s Play confirms a trailer is coming this Friday. Child’s Play began as a spec script from writer Don Mancini called Blood Buddy, where a lonely boy is gifted a lifelike doll named Buddy. This boy makes a blood pact with the toy, resulting in it coming to life when he sleeps and going on a killing spree. This concept was reworked into a story about a killer named Charles Lee Ray (Brad Dourif) performing a ritual - as he’s about to die - that places his spirit in a doll....

At first glance, Showtime’s new drama City on a Hill looks as if it could have been conceived by someone particularly taken with Ben Affleck’s 2010 Boston-set crime drama The Town. What with its brotherhood of violent Beantown criminals doing battle not only with the FBI, but eventually among themselves, the two seemingly share some sort of DNA. That turns out to be true, as the new series is executive produced by Affleck and Matt Damon, but instead of starring either actor, it stars Kevin Bacon as corrupt FBI agent Jackie Rohr, who eventually joins forces with ADA Decourcy Ward (Aldis Hodge) in an effort to clean up Boston’s corrupt legal system, which the series surmises is what allows a ruthless gang of armored car robbers to run roughshod across the city....

Similar to the reboot, the show follows a sisterhood of witches who find out they are ‘The Charmed Ones’. ‘The Charmed Ones’ are known to be the most powerful witches in the world, who dedicate their lives to fighting the sources of all evil. The first recruits were: Prue (Shannen Doherty), Piper (Holly-Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano) Halliwell....

Asus and the Shadow Hammer Malware Attack On the upside, your computer is probably not at risk. Shadow Hammer only affects Asus laptops and not many at that. Researchers at Kaspersky Lab estimated that around a half a million laptops received the tainted update as an orchestrated attack running from, “June 2018 to November 2018 undetected until now,” according to Miriam Cihodariu of Heimdal Security.
