Google today updated its Chrome browser for iPhone and iPad with support for iOS 8’s new third-party App Extensions feature. That means that Chrome’s sharing menu will now show additional sharing options from apps you have installed supporting the new App Extensions feature. During its opening keynote at the Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple announced Siri would gain an all-new “Eyes Free” feature as part of iOS 6. Eyes Free lets automakers include a button on their automobiles that allows drivers to initiate Siri for sending messages, making calls, setting reminders, launching apps, and accessing a slew of information from inside of the car without picking up the device. Apple revealed nine automakers will adopt Eyes Free, but it gave no more information....

In December 2020, Cisco announced a wave of Webex new features to its videoconferencing service. This month, it is starting to roll out real-time translation as a test for more than 100 languages on Mac and other platforms. The pirate-themed MMO Atlas has almost arrived, and the full map released for the game is enormous. Studio Wildcard first announced the title at The Game Awards 2018, thrilling audiences with the concept of an MMO that featured pirates. Google’s Chrome browser for iPhones and iPads is getting a whole lot faster and more stable today with its latest update. That’s because Chrome is now using Apple’s WKWebView rendering engine on iOS. Google says this update will reduce Chrome’s crash rate by 70% so the browsing experience will see fewer interruptions for various reasons. LAWeekly reports that a Los Angeles man has filed a class action lawsuit against Apple over the iPhone 4’s glass casing. He claims that his iPhone 4’s glass broke when his daughter dropped the device, three feet above the ground, while sending a text message.
