It is the news that everyone has been waiting for as Chris Evans confirms he really is done with playing Captain America after the Russo Brothers’ Untitled Avengers 4. Alongside big names like Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth, Evans helped launch Phase 1 of the MCU playing the First Avenger, Steve Rogers. In addition to starring in two proper solo movies, Evans also led the charge in Captain America: Civil War, the first two Avengers movies, and makes a major return to form in the upcoming Avengers: Infinity War....

After entering early access preview five months ago, ChromeOS Flex is now stable (version 103) and ready for widespread use. This follows Google’s decision to relaunch CloudReady, which it acquired in December of 2020, as ChromeOS Flex in February. This “free-to-download operating system” turns older Mac and Windows computers that are no longer receiving updates into Chromebooks. Devices running ChromeOS Flex share the same code base, tab/application-level sandboxing, read-only OS, background system updates, release cadence, and seconds-long boot time....

Via GforGames, China Mobile is listing specs for the 4.7 inch iPhone 6 on its website. Whilst some of this information is obvious at this point, like screen size, other information is very specific. The site ostensibly claims the iPhone will use a quad-core A8 processor, will have some level of waterproofing and have a screen resolution of 1334×750. It also claims the device will be 7mm thin. What’s questionable here is whether China Mobile is reporting ‘fact’ or simply guessing....

Just a few short years ago, it would’ve seemed crazy to think of Chris Pratt as one of the biggest movie stars in the world. A few months back, we reported on a hardware flaw plaguing a growing number of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus users, which garnered the name of “Touch Disease.” Shortly after the flaw was initially reported on, a trio of iPhone users filed a class action lawsuit against Apple, claiming that Apple refuses to repair devices affected by Touch Disease for free. Over a month later, Apple has yet to publicly acknowledge the issue....

In April, Apple officially opened the Find My network to third-party products with Chipolo ONE Spot, Belkin’s SOUNDFORM Freedom, and VanMoof’s latest S3 and X3 e-bikes. Now, the AirTag competitor Chipolo ONE Spot is available to pre-order. Different from the AirTag, the Chipolo ONE Spot has a keyring hole that attaches directly to the keyring. Although it’s water-resistant, it has an iPX5 rate, which means it can resist a sustained, low-pressure water jet spray, while AirTag has IP67, which can be submerged up to one meter in water for 30 minutes....

Chris Hardwick is returning to AMC’s program Talking Dead following their investigation. Just over a month ago, Hardwick was accused by his ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra of emotional abuse and sexual assault. After the claim was made, Hardwick’s future immediately was thrown into question. It didn’t take long for Nerdist, a website he founded but since moved on from, to scrub any mention of him from their site. But, it was AMC who was put under the most pressure....

This past weekend at the D23 Expo, Hasbro introduced the Black Panther figure from the Marvel Legends 12-Inch Series, ahead of the Marvel Cinematic Universe film’s release next February. With most of the Disney news that came from last weekend’s D23 having to do with trailer reveals, casting announcements, and theme park attractions, some of the smaller figures and reveals could have fallen through the wayside. In particular, the various types of merchandise that were unveiled from Disney, Lucasfilm and Marvel properties are exciting to see, giving the individuals who are interested in collecting these items for their shelves....

Model Christie Brinkley, who shattered her wrist and arm on Dancing with the Stars, addresses the haters - aka Wendy Williams - by posting photo evidence of x-rays of her shattered forearm and photos of her in the hospital to prove her wrist was in fact dislocated. A report from Citi analyst Walter Pritchard made headlines this morning with claims that HTC agreed to paying five bucks per every Android handset sold. The basis for this is Microsoft’s patent settlement with the Taiwanese handset maker over intellectual property infringement, the analyst has found out. The fact that HTC makes Windows Phones obviously didn’t help dodge that patent hit. Microsoft’s boss Steve Ballmer argued last October that Android wasn’t free just because it’s open-sourced....

Chase Pay is the latest mobile payment service to join the digital wallet competition. The new payment option relies on a QR code-based mobile app on your smartphone to complete payments in stores. A version on the web is also available for online shopping. While Chase Pay is technically a competitor to Apple Pay (because you can’t use both at checkout), Chase remains a partner for Apple’s mobile payment service as well with support available since Apple Pay’s launch in October 2014....
