Actor Chris Evans, along with other movie fans, was shocked to discover that the black and white film in Home Alone, Angels With Filthy Souls, is not a real movie. Home Alone, the classic Christmas film about an 8-year-old boy named Kevin McCallister whose parents accidentally leave him alone in their house during Christmas, features a scene where Kevin watches an old black and white gangster movie. The old movie, titled Angels with Filthy Souls, is one that Kevin’s parents wouldn’t let him watch, but he indulges in it after he realizes that he has the house to himself....

Apple TV+ has added another blockbuster-potential movie to its slate of projects, with Deadline reporting late last night that the company has added a new film, named ‘Ghosted’, to its slate. The movie will star Chris Evans — previously seen in Apple TV+ series Defending Jacob — and Scarlett Johansson, and is described as a romantic action adventure story. The film will be directed by Dexter Fletcher and produced by Skydance studios for Apple....

Update: Spectrum subscribers now report that the app is slated to launch on December 13th. With tvOS 12, Apple announced a new feature it calls “Zero Sign On,” which simplifies the login process for TV streaming applications. Apple originally said that Charter Spectrum would be the first TV provider to support the feature, with a new Charter Spectrum app for Apple TV and Zero Sign On launching before the end of the year....

Christopher McQuarrie is set to return to write and direct Mission: Impossible 7 and Mission: Impossible 8. McQuarrie joined the Tom Cruise led action franchise with Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation in 2015 and became the first director to return to the franchise by tackling Mission: Impossible - Fallout. The latter hit theaters last year and had the highest opening weekend in the series’ history. Although it was Brad Bird who helped further relaunch the franchise with Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol, the franchise has reached its full potential under McQuarrie....

Following an update late last month from the City of Cupertino on progress being made at Apple’s currently under construction Campus 2 project, now the City has shared an official updated aerial photo of the site from Apple. Last month the city shared the first official photo with an overhead shot showing the entire campus and surrounding area. Today’s shot shows that progress is continuing on the main structure’s foundation and surrounding campus, but also gives us a wider field of view for a nice perspective of how the site fits into the surrounding city....
