Following a number of amateur aerial shots of Apple’s Campus 2 construction popping up on Instagram and elsewhere online, today the City of Cupertino shared our best yet look at progress on the site with an aerial shot of the entire campus. The shot doesn’t just show the main circular “spaceship” structure, but also work starting on the the entire surrounding campus. The City of Cupertino shares regular updates on traffic conditions related to the project on its website, but today it added the shot above showing construction progress on Campus 2....

One of the biggest superhero movies coming out in 2016 is Captain America: Civil War. Less than a year after joining Apple, former Cisco executive Stella Low is leaving the company and departing her role as vice president of communications. In place of Low, Apple CEO Tim Cook has appointed Kristin Huguet Quayle as Apple’s vice president in charge of worldwide communications. Until today’s announcement, Quayle had served as the company’s vice president of corporate communications, having joined the company back in 2005. Quayle holds an MBA from University of California Berkeley Haas Business School and Bachelor of Arts degree in communications and political science from Furman University....

Clear discontinued the iSpot personal 4G hotspot for iOS devices yesterday. The iSpot was easily hacked to work like its more expensive counterpart with all computers and even had trouble with some iPads without hacking. Clear recently dropped the price of the iSpot by 80% and will continue selling them until they sell out of retail inventory. Sprint (who own 54% of Clear) is also about to announce a new Mifi device which may also account for the iSpot discontinuation (below)....

Two new posters for Child’s Play have been released, this time with Chucky murdering Mr. Potato Head and Rex from Toy Story 4. CISA created a landing page for all Log4j vulnerability content and is providing insight alongside the Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative that includes multiple cybersecurity companies. CISA added the Log4j vulnerability alongside 12 others, with four having remediation due dates of December 24 and the rest having June 10, 2022, as the date. The ones slated for remediation by Christmas include the Zoho Corp.
